Leads prototype lab safety, risk assessments, scheduling, capacity planning, tooling and materials procurement, calibration, and continuous improvement. Provides manufacturing engineering guidance, develops engineering packages, supports certification and production activities, and coordinates technicians and cross-functional teams. The role requires hands-on prototype development experience, technical problem-solving, regulatory compliance, and flexibility for on-site work, travel, and varying shifts.

Creates and revises mechanical, structural, and electrical aircraft component drawings, installations, assemblies, layouts, parts lists, and engineering documents. Ensures designs comply with FAA regulations, customer specifications, drafting standards, and company procedures. Supports engineering project teams, drawing release, change coordination, design approvals, and continuous improvement. Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, at least two years in a specialized functional area, aircraft interior knowledge, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and preferably CATIA experience.

Conducts internal audits of aviation facility processes to ensure compliance with aviation regulations, customer requirements, and quality standards. Responsibilities include developing audit checklists, coordinating external audits, evaluating processes, reporting findings, monitoring corrective actions, investigating incidents, maintaining approved vendor lists, training staff, and updating procedures based on regulatory changes and best practices.

Provides technical engineering support for Embraer E175 aircraft operators and clients. Analyzes aircraft systems, structures, avionics, electrical components, engines, maintenance issues, service bulletins, and repair needs. Coordinates retrofit campaigns, guides repair teams and maintenance shops, qualifies facilities, delivers technical training, presents aircraft improvements, prepares technical and cost reports, and supports reliability and troubleshooting activities.

Develops new business leads and prospects within an assigned region, supporting regional sales directors throughout the sales cycle. Responsibilities include lead generation, Salesforce administration, customer communications, market and competitor analysis, sales engineering coordination, customer visits, demonstration flights, trade shows, and professional lead handoffs. The role also executes strategic action plans, represents Embraer regionally, and coordinates cross-functional business development activities.

Provides Lean and P3E continuous-improvement support for aircraft production operations. Coordinates Kaizen, Yokoten, DMAIC, value-stream mapping, KPI tracking, quality clinics, action plans, training, and improvement projects across Phenom and Legacy production lines. Serves as a liaison between production teams and the central P3E committee, facilitates problem solving, monitors results, and supports process optimization, presentations, and employee development.

Develop, integrate, validate, and certify corporate aircraft interior components and systems. Ensure compliance with market, product, certification, quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Coordinate interfaces between aircraft interiors and hydraulics, electrical systems, tooling, manufacturing, and assembly processes. Work under senior guidance, resolve clearly defined engineering problems, support multiple projects, and follow aviation, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Serve as Continuous Improvement Agent for Embraer Executive Aircraft Production, coordinating P3E initiatives, facilitating Kaizen/Yokoten activities, tracking KPIs, supporting project planning and QC/quality clinics, training cell members, and liaising between central P3E committee and production teams to drive lean improvements.

Lead Quality Engineering activities to maintain and improve the QMS, ensure regulatory and certification compliance (ISO/AS standards, FAA), manage audits, corrective actions, inspection/metrology, quality planning tools (PFMEA, SPC), and drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, and Lean initiatives across product lifecycle.

Lead supplier quality rescue projects and supplier onboarding; conduct supplier audits, risk assessments and root-cause analyses; drive corrective actions and Lean initiatives; maintain QM records and control plans in SAP; provide executive reports and collaborate cross-functionally. Frequent international travel to supplier sites (up to 80%).
