Support physical therapists and PTAs by assisting with patient treatments and modalities, patient transfers, equipment sanitization and maintenance, scheduling using Intergy, patient call/rescheduling and basic clerical tasks. Maintain logs and clinic supplies, and perform assigned cleaning and equipment upkeep.

Provide outpatient physical therapy care per the PT Plan of Care: assess, treat, progress home exercise programs, educate patients, communicate with evaluating PT, and document to help patients meet functional goals.

Provide sports medicine and orthopedic surgical and non-surgical care (total joints, back, foot-ankle, shoulders) in a multidisciplinary practice. Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, athletic trainers; use advanced imaging and surgical technology; build a patient base; pursue productivity incentives and potential ownership opportunities while maintaining flexible scheduling and community-focused care.

Manage front desk checkout: open office, schedule appointments, verify demographics/insurance, create and review EHR charts, greet patients, collect copays, maintain patient paperwork and reception area, communicate delays, route faxes/reports, support clinical staff, and comply with HIPAA. Use Outlook, Athena EHR, Dialpad and other office software.

Provide outpatient physical therapy care following individualized plans of care: assess, treat, progress home exercise programs, educate patients, communicate with PTs, ensure safe transfers, and document patient progress to meet functional goals.

Support PTs/PTAs with patient treatments and equipment, apply and remove therapeutic modalities, assist patients on/off equipment, sanitize clinic equipment, manage basic scheduling in Intergy, track and call patients for rescheduling, assist front desk with charts, and maintain hydrocollator and compression units.
