Teams at Ellis & Badenhausen Orthopaedics

Provides acute and chronic orthopedic patient care, including examinations, preoperative assessments, injections, minor procedures, medication prescribing, hospital rounds, diagnostics review, patient education, documentation, triage, emergency response, and on-call coverage.

Support physical therapists and PTAs by assisting with patient treatments and modalities, patient transfers, equipment sanitization and maintenance, scheduling using Intergy, patient call/rescheduling and basic clerical tasks. Maintain logs and clinic supplies, and perform assigned cleaning and equipment upkeep.

Provide outpatient physical therapy care per the PT Plan of Care: assess, treat, progress home exercise programs, educate patients, communicate with evaluating PT, and document to help patients meet functional goals.
