Supports a college financial aid office by providing responsive service to students and families, answering inquiries, maintaining confidential records, processing and reviewing aid files, supporting award packaging and federal programs, performing quality assurance checks, managing calendars and office operations, coordinating mailings and events, ordering supplies, and assisting with compliance, reporting, budgeting, and administrative tasks.

Provides STEM-focused career advising, employer and alumni engagement, internship coordination, career-readiness programming, and industry expertise for engineering, computer science, and science students. Partners with faculty and campus stakeholders to develop experiential learning opportunities, support career outcomes, administer career initiatives, analyze destination data, integrate NACE competencies, and contribute to Career Development Center strategy and operations.

Teach public relations and strategic communications courses, including PR writing, advanced PR, organizational communications, feature writing, and senior capstone. Advise the student-run Jay Firm agency, mentor students, support recruitment and marketing, advise research projects, and contribute to program and college-wide service. Applicants must hold a master’s degree and have professional public relations or strategic communications experience; teaching experience and a Ph.D. are preferred.

Teach multiple in-person sections of first- and second-year Applied Calculus (≈16 contact hours/week), coordinate and improve course content and assessments, use active and mastery-based pedagogy, support student learning in engineering and computing contexts, participate in service and professional development, and contribute to collaborative teaching initiatives.

Teach undergraduate electrical engineering courses (including Circuits), develop 1–2 upper-level electrical-related courses, advise and mentor students, participate in ABET and institutional service, and contribute to a collaborative teaching culture. Tenure-track candidates must maintain an undergraduate-centered research agenda and publish with undergraduates; teaching-track candidates focus on instruction and labs. Typical loads: 12 contact hours (tenure-track) or 15 (teaching-track).
