Supervises off-shift clinical unit functions, evaluates nursing staff and patient care, coordinates clinical resources and preceptor activities, and supports unit improvement initiatives. Ensures continuity of care across shifts and clinical areas while providing direct, age-appropriate NICU nursing care using professional standards and the nursing process.

Provides secretarial and office coordination support to the PICU Director and department. Responsibilities include managing supplies, equipment ordering, inventory control, reports, communications, and administrative tasks. Requires strong customer service, communication, English comprehension, medical terminology knowledge, and typing skills. Bilingual English/Spanish capability is preferred.

Provides basic patient care activities and procedures for patients of varying ages under the direct training and supervision of a registered nurse. Requires enrollment in an approved nursing program or completion of a nursing program with NCLEX-RN eligibility. Current BLS certification, communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and scope-of-practice competency are required.
