Lead regulatory compliance, accreditation, and licensure activities; ensure Joint Commission, CMS and state standards are met; oversee public reporting and quality metrics; drive performance improvement, survey readiness, policy review, staff education, and corrective actions across clinical service lines.

Manage biomedical engineering staff, vendors, budgets, policies, inventory, and repair operations. Develop standards, support interoperability, collaborate with IS/CISO, and participate in leadership, safety committees, and on-call rotations. Oversee project implementation and cross-divisional service models.

Support and lead compliance program activities: monitor regulatory changes, perform audits and investigations, develop policies and training, review billing/coding, report risks, and advise clinical and operational teams to ensure regulatory adherence and corrective actions.

Lead El Camino Health's internal audit function by developing and executing a risk-based audit plan, managing operational/financial/compliance/IT audits, reporting to senior leadership and the Board, overseeing audit quality and staff development, supporting ERM, coordinating with Compliance/Legal/HR, and tracking corrective actions to strengthen controls and governance.

Maintain, test, install, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on clinical biomedical equipment (focus on imaging/radiology preferred). Serve as liaison with external service vendors and manage asset maintenance across hospital locations.

Analyze and manage compensation programs, conduct market analysis, ensure compliance with regulations, and partner with HR to enhance total rewards programs.
