Performs general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, account and bank reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital asset tracking, billing, and audit support. Prepares recurring and ad hoc financial reports, maintains advanced Excel spreadsheets, investigates accounting inquiries, and ensures records comply with GAAP, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Collects self-pay and post-insurance patient balances through phone and written follow-up. Maintains collection records, coordinates with billing departments and outside agencies, updates patient insurance and address information, processes returned checks, and answers patient account questions. Reviews medical benefits and explains financial responsibilities while ensuring accurate, timely account resolution and compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.

Performs CT and radiological examinations, prepares and positions patients, administers ordered contrast, maintains patient records, coordinates exams and reports, and ensures compliance with safety, infection-control, and regulatory standards. Provides patient education and reassurance, supports departmental administrative tasks, maintains equipment and supplies, and precepts new team members.

Processes inpatient and outpatient insurance claims, including initial, secondary, adjusted, and denied claims. Reviews billing documentation, account balances, contractual adjustments, and claim errors; conducts follow-up to resolve payment issues and support hospital cash flow. Performs reporting, root-cause analysis, workflow improvement, refund processing, and subrogation recovery. Maintains HIPAA compliance, claim documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge of hospital billing formats such as UB-04 and CMS-1500.

Provide clinical and operational leadership on Med/Surg shifts, combining direct patient care with coordination of staffing, patient flow, mentoring, education, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a resource for complex clinical situations, supports staff development, and ensures adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements.

Provides direct and indirect patient care across multiple nursing units as a float RN. Assesses, plans, implements, documents, and evaluates care; educates patients and families; performs lab specimen collection and emergency interventions; administers IV fluids and blood products; may supervise support staff and assist with transfers. Works varied shifts to cover staffing shortages and fluctuating census. Requires Georgia RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Coordinate and manage a designated caseload to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate patient care and transitions. Perform admission and continued stay reviews, liaise with payers and physician advisors, document clinical findings, facilitate interdisciplinary care conferences, and ensure safe, cost-effective discharge plans following federal and hospital guidelines.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams and related patient care under the Radiology Manager. Coordinates exams, prepares patients and equipment, maintains records, follows safety and infection-control policies, educates patients, assists with report distribution, acts as receptionist and preceptor, and participates in continuing education and departmental duties.
