Provides direct and indirect patient care across multiple nursing units as a float RN. Assesses, plans, implements, documents, and evaluates care; educates patients and families; performs lab specimen collection and emergency interventions; administers IV fluids and blood products; may supervise support staff and assist with transfers. Works varied shifts to cover staffing shortages and fluctuating census. Requires Georgia RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Coordinate and manage a designated caseload to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate patient care and transitions. Perform admission and continued stay reviews, liaise with payers and physician advisors, document clinical findings, facilitate interdisciplinary care conferences, and ensure safe, cost-effective discharge plans following federal and hospital guidelines.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams and related patient care under the Radiology Manager. Coordinates exams, prepares patients and equipment, maintains records, follows safety and infection-control policies, educates patients, assists with report distribution, acts as receptionist and preceptor, and participates in continuing education and departmental duties.
