Performs general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, account and bank reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital asset tracking, billing, and audit support. Prepares recurring and ad hoc financial reports, maintains advanced Excel spreadsheets, investigates accounting inquiries, and ensures records comply with GAAP, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Collects self-pay and post-insurance patient balances through phone and written follow-up. Maintains collection records, coordinates with billing departments and outside agencies, updates patient insurance and address information, processes returned checks, and answers patient account questions. Reviews medical benefits and explains financial responsibilities while ensuring accurate, timely account resolution and compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.

Performs CT and radiological examinations, prepares and positions patients, administers ordered contrast, maintains patient records, coordinates exams and reports, and ensures compliance with safety, infection-control, and regulatory standards. Provides patient education and reassurance, supports departmental administrative tasks, maintains equipment and supplies, and precepts new team members.
