Support development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software, data platforms, and analytical applications. Gather requirements, produce design and requirements documents, build SharePoint front-ends and automated workflows with Power Automate, write basic SQL queries, create Power BI reports, assist implementation, train end users, and maintain documentation while ensuring data privacy and adherence to government shipbuilding standards.

Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and schedule candidates using job boards, ATS, and social media. Maintain applicant data, manage multiple openings, support recruitment metrics and procedures, and ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.

Perform shipfitting tasks for steel construction and repair of marine vessels including layout, lofting, tack welding, cutting/burning with torch, rigging small lifts, building bulkheads and decks, reading simple blueprints, and following safety/OSHA procedures. Work requires physical labor, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, confined-space work, and flexible hours including overtime.

Support the Safety Manager by inspecting workplace areas, enforcing PPE and safety procedures, assisting with permits (hot work, confined space, LOTO), administering first aid and post-incident drug tests, conducting safety orientations, and correcting hazards in a heavy industrial shipyard environment.

Lay out, fabricate, align, and brace metal structural ship components from blueprints or templates. Install fittings, tack weld and prepare parts for welding or riveting, operate cutting tools, and follow safety/OSHA procedures while performing physically demanding, on-site shipyard work.

Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling for shipbuilding programs, develop and maintain integrated master schedules and work packages, perform resource loading and critical path analysis, support EVMS reporting and BCR processes, supervise and train planning staff, coordinate with PMs, CAMs, procurement, finance, and operations, and drive process improvements and schedule integration across projects.

Perform mechanical fitting, rigging, fabrication, and recordkeeping while complying with OSHA/ABS safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Work hands-on in confined spaces, at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Verify critical measurements across vessel construction phases including panel line fabrication, jig geometry, unit/block alignments, and block erection. Support production with measurement checks, liaise with Engineering, use electronic/laser measurement tools and AutoCAD, and ensure dimensional control and safety compliance.

Manage full-cycle recruiting by sourcing candidates via job boards, social media, and referrals; screen and interview applicants; coordinate interviews; maintain applicant tracking data; partner with hiring managers to meet hiring timelines and improve recruitment processes.

Install and align propulsion machinery, sea valves, steering gear, pumps and related shipboard equipment. Set up and operate metalworking machines, fabricate and install foundations, read blueprints, perform precision measuring, rig lifts, maintain tools and equipment, comply with safety/ABS/OSHA standards, and perform welding as required.

Supervise and support Panel Line operations: assist superintendent/foreman with production schedules, oversee workforce, ensure safety and quality of finished parts, train employees, inspect products to specifications, resolve equipment/operational issues, and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.

Support QA Director by maintaining automated inspection systems, standardizing QA processes across commercial vessel projects, implementing inspection plans and test procedures, preparing quality reports and dashboards, coordinating QA documentation and training, and supporting internal/external audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lay out, fabricate, align, and brace metal structural parts (plates, bulkheads, frames) in ship hulls using hand and power tools, torch/plasma cutting, and welding. Read blueprints/templates, mark and drill holes, install temporary fasteners, packing, gaskets, and structural accessories. Perform tack and permanent welding, prepare molds/templates for nonstandard parts, flag cranes, and follow safety/OSHA requirements while working at heights, confined spaces, and in a heavy industrial shipyard environment.

Supervise and coordinate crew fabricating and installing metal ship structures (bulkheads, plates, frames). Assign and monitor work, ensure safety and productivity, read blueprints, loft parts, perform cutting with torch/plasma, rig lifts, and train subordinates. Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety rules.

Supervise and coordinate installation and inspection of propulsion machinery and related marine equipment. Operate and fit parts using metalworking machines, oversee Millwright Machinist workforce, enforce safety/OSHA/ABS standards, coordinate schedules, meet production goals, perform welding (SMAW) tests, rigging, and train or indirectly supervise subordinates. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Support capture, proposal, contract formation, and program execution for shipbuilding programs. Monitor government procurement, coordinate subcontractors, update schedules and budgets, track changes and deliverables, maintain compliance (CUI), and prepare program reporting and executive briefings. Work cross-functionally to support material readiness, cost/schedule controls, and post-award transitions in office and shipyard environments.
