Manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, cultivate and steward donor relationships, develop income pipeline, write persuasive grant applications, support team strategy, host meetings/events, and maintain accurate CRM records to secure five-figure grants.

Lead strategic communications and public affairs campaigns: develop messaging and plans across paid, owned and earned channels; brief delivery teams; embed evaluation frameworks; manage stakeholders to influence government and public audiences and measure campaign success.

Provide day-to-day Salesforce support for 1,200+ users: handle incidents/requests via ITSM, maintain and debug Flows and automations, manage access and security (profiles, permission sets, SSO), perform data imports/exports and reporting, follow governance and release processes, and propose BAU improvements while specialising in areas like Marketing, Finance or Operations.

Lead and motivate the rehoming team to maximize dog adoptions, allocate daily tasks for staff and volunteers, provide excellent customer service during public openings, and apply creative rehoming approaches to match dogs with adopters.

Provide administrative and financial support to the rehoming centre: process invoices and donations, manage weekly banking, support budgeting, coordinate staff rota and leave, maintain training, H&S and maintenance records, manage stock and suppliers, support permits and audits, update customer-facing materials, log IT issues, and occasionally assist with reception and dog welfare.

Recruit, assess, place and support volunteer foster carers; conduct intake assessments; arrange veterinary and behaviour support; deliver training; promote dogs for adoption and complete adoption paperwork.

Deliver and embed a new brand strategy across the organisation, manage stakeholder projects and relationships, coordinate suppliers and agencies, act as brand ambassador and expert, and support brand development and roll-out initiatives alongside the Brand Lead and Marcomms.

Lead and develop the centre management team, staff and volunteers to rehabilitate and rehome dogs. Manage site operations, welfare standards, health & safety, budgets, fundraising, volunteering strategy, marketing and stakeholder relationships to maximise rehoming outcomes.

Supervise and support Dog Welfare Assistants to provide daily exercise, training and enrichment, maintain kennel cleanliness and comfort, coordinate inductions and monthly supervisions, ensure adherence to care procedures, and occasionally act as site supervisor on a rota.
