Processes customs and PGA entries for imported goods, reviews invoices and regulatory documentation, coordinates shipments with carriers, forwarders, vendors, government agencies, and customers, and resolves billing and tracking issues. Maintains shipment files, verifies weights and currencies, supports customs brokerage compliance, handles accounting processes, and provides customer service. The role requires weekend availability and evening or overnight scheduling.

Supports the export compliance program by reviewing international shipment transactions, screening restricted parties, preparing export documentation and EEI filings, evaluating compliance risks, and monitoring export controls and sanctions. The role collaborates with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and internal teams; maintains audit records; investigates concerns; supports training and process improvements; and stays current on regulatory changes.

Processes customs and PGA entries for international shipments entering the United States. Reviews invoices and regulatory documents, coordinates with customers, carriers, vendors, forwarders, airlines, steamship lines, and government agencies, and resolves billing and shipment issues. Maintains shipment files, verifies weights and currencies, coordinates pickups and deliveries, supports compliance, and handles related accounting and customer service activities.

Provides senior-level customs and trade advisory services, including independent regulatory research, complex import/export analysis, compliance guidance, project planning, client training, and government liaison activities. Develops solutions for complex trade situations, ensures regulatory compliance, identifies sales opportunities, presents seminars, and mentors colleagues. Requires substantial customs brokerage or auditing experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and eligibility to obtain a Customs Broker’s License. The role is remote with up to 10% travel.

Process and integrate customer import data and documents, act as customer liaison to resolve billing and shipment issues, prepare customs clearance paperwork (bills of lading, bonds, PGAs, licenses), communicate with CBP and PGAs, trace and coordinate freight, ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, EPA, USFWS), maintain documentation and accounting accuracy, and support customers, carriers, and internal teams.

Lead and develop a team of Bond Specialists to ensure accurate, compliant processing of bonds, powers of attorney, importer identity verification, and recordkeeping. Oversee policy, controls, audits, enhanced due diligence, and metrics; serve as escalation point for clients and surety providers; manage POA renewals and drive process improvements while maintaining CBP regulatory compliance and high customer service standards.
