Requires substantial customs brokerage or auditing experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and eligibility to obtain a Customs Broker’s License. The role is remote with up to 10% travel.

Prepares customs documents, including bonds, bills, classifications, releases, reports, and OGA paperwork; secures import consolidation releases; and manages turnover, internal transfer, and in-bond documentation. Handles confidential information, cross-trains in additional duties, and may complete dangerous goods and export regulation courses. Requires recent customs brokerage and entry-keying experience.

Manage import customs clearance and customer relations for international shipments: prepare documentation, communicate with CBP/PGAs, track shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate carriers and vendors, handle billing and accounting tasks, and support internal teams with import processes.

The Import Specialist I processes customer data for international shipments, acts as a liaison for customer service, prepares import documentation, and ensures compliance with customs regulations.

Oversee policy, controls, audits, enhanced due diligence, and metrics; serve as escalation point for clients and surety providers; manage POA renewals and drive process improvements while maintaining CBP regulatory compliance and high customer service standards.
