Supports technical and supply-chain issue resolution, regulatory and tariff considerations, customer events, negotiations, and lower-level colleague development. Assists with designing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing processes across machining, forming, plastics, welding, assembly, and material handling. Supports production planning, capacity analysis, facility layout, feasibility studies, cost estimates, technical documentation, process compliance, and problem resolution. Researches manufacturing technologies, implements approved improvements, prepares reports and presentations, and provides work instructions to technicians while applying PDCA and Kaizen principles.

Develops and delivers technical and competency-based training for advanced manufacturing employees. Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to keep materials current, assesses training needs, manages vendor-delivered programs, coordinates certifications, oversees budgets, and leads training improvement projects. Provides guidance to less experienced trainers and supports continuous improvement across technical training processes.

Develops and integrates electrification systems across electrical, mechanical, thermal, controls, software, and vehicle domains. Executes architecture, requirements, design, integration, testing, validation, trade-off analysis, and issue resolution from concept through production support. Collaborates with global engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and program teams while managing technical risks and presenting recommendations. Provides technical guidance to less-experienced engineers and supports electrified powertrain technologies including batteries, charging, power electronics, high-voltage systems, and thermal management.

Supports month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, margin variance analysis, and financial reporting. The role assists with internal controls, investigates balance sheet differences, supports IFRS and U.S. GAAP compliance, and contributes to process improvement initiatives. Leads new product launches and develops manufacturing processes, equipment, jigs, and machinery. Manages APQP implementation, project budgets, costs, and schedules from quotation through production. Coordinates cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and business planning while influencing matrixed teams. Provides strategic recommendations, performance updates, risk assessments, and corrective actions to business unit and executive leadership.

Writes, edits, and develops internal and external communications across print, electronic, broadcast, and digital channels. Drafts newsletters, press releases, speeches, event materials, and promotional content; coordinates with media, marketing, tradeshow, and other departments; manages communication vendors; represents the company at community and media events; mentors junior colleagues; and supports communications projects and continuous improvement.

Champions Toyota Production System principles and leads continuous improvement initiatives across a manufacturing plant. Conducts time studies, process observations, root cause analysis, and KPI reviews to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, labor utilization, material flow, and throughput. Develops standardized work, production balancing, takt-time processes, visual management systems, and production controls. Supports new product introductions, equipment installations, and process changes while partnering with production and logistics teams. Provides employee training and coaching on continuous improvement practices.

Supports plant leadership by designing manufacturing processes and leading cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives using TPS, JIT, and Kaizen principles.
