Provides direct inpatient nursing care for orthopedic and reconstructive surgery patients. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, care planning, documentation, infection control, patient and family support, coordination with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, inventory and equipment monitoring, charge nursing, shift handoffs, training, and participation in mobile clinics or community outreach.

Provides emergency nursing care by assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting physicians, documenting in the EMR, coordinating admissions and transfers, educating patients and families, and maintaining equipment and infection-control standards. The nurse may rotate across the operating room, wards, and mobile clinics, while supporting hospital safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.
