Own end-to-end accounting operations, oversee monthly/quarterly close, AP, payroll accounting, and equity administration. Build scalable accounting processes and systems, advise on complex GAAP issues, support FP&A, fundraising, audits, and cross-functional initiatives to enable growth.

Lead accounting operations, controls, and reporting; manage accounting department and outsourced functions; oversee transactions (AP/AR/payroll/bank reconciliations); produce financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; support audits, debt covenant compliance, and financial analyses for investments, pricing, and contracts.

Provide day-to-day onsite and offsite HR support for multiple small-to-medium clients, covering benefits & compensation, talent management, employee relations, compliance, and HR strategy. Must have 10+ years' HR experience in privately held small businesses or nonprofits, travel weekly to client offices in the DC/Baltimore area, and be tech-savvy with payroll and benefits platforms.

Consult as an independent accounting and finance executive for growth-stage clients. Provide GAAP-based financial reporting, budgeting, tax/audit support, system design, cash-flow analysis, policy implementation, staff oversight, and mentoring to company teams.

Lead month-end close, consolidation, and financial statement preparation across multiple entities. Own OPEX, accruals, payroll, equity, and non-revenue accounting. Manage and develop a team of three, improve accounting systems and controls, and lead audits and technical accounting initiatives to support rapid fintech scale.
