Leads sustaining and small product-development projects, supports production startups, evaluates materials and manufacturing techniques, prepares cost estimates and technical documentation, and collaborates with sourcing and quality teams on suppliers and regulatory compliance. The role also supports process improvements, equipment training, clinical evaluations, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.

Leads innovative product design and technical development, including CAD, materials, manufacturing processes, documentation, cost estimates, and production startup. Provides engineering support for existing products, collaborates with manufacturing, project teams, OEMs, and customers, and ensures quality-system compliance. Mentors junior engineers and designers, provides advanced technical leadership, participates in clinical evaluations, and supports processes involving injection molding, machining, and assembly.

Drives inside-sales revenue for medical device products through inbound and outbound selling, lead generation, quoting, order entry, CRM management, customer support, and upselling. Provides product guidance to radiation oncology professionals and hospital buyers, coordinates shipments and returns, resolves complaints, and partners with territory sales managers to advance opportunities. Maintains accurate customer records, supports forecasting, shares market feedback, and collaborates with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success.

Leads polymer and thermoplastic materials and product development from research through commercialization, translating laboratory concepts into scalable, manufacturable, reliable, and regulatory-compliant medical products. Partners with R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, commercial teams, suppliers, consultants, and IP counsel. Provides technical leadership for design verification, validation, risk analysis, process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, intellectual property, and customer-informed product enhancements.

The Helpdesk Lead - Technical Support manages complex user issues, supports Microsoft 365 services, mentors staff, and oversees helpdesk operations for operational effectiveness.
