CQ Medical is seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role drives revenue growth through inbound and outbound sales activities, lead generation, customer engagement, quote management, and accurate CRM administration.

This role responds to customer inquiries, enters orders, schedules shipments, resolves and documents complaints, provides information to customers, partners with field Territory Sales Managers, and engages in upselling and cross-selling when appropriate to the clinician’s patient needs.  This critical role represents the voice of CQ Medical to our customers and ensuring that we are able to meet the needs of their patients.  The role works closely with the field sales team to achieve Sales department goals.  This position reports to the Customer Care Manager in service of our providers and their patients. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  (Other duties may be assigned.)

  1. Provide World-Class Customer Care in interactions with radiation oncology medical professionals, hospital buyers, and other key customers.
  2. Learn a large, complex product portfolio to provide customers with accurate guidance and support.
  3. Recommend appropriate upsell and cross-sell products to meet the clinical needs of customers and their patients.
  4. Prepare, issue, and follow up on customer quotes, ensuring product compatibility, contract pricing, and terms are accurate.
  5. Accurately enter orders and maintain timely CRM records of all customer interactions, leads, quotes, opportunities, and pipeline updates to support forecasting and reporting.
  6. Ship and track demo equipment for Territory Sales Managers and customers.
  7. Build strong customer relationships through timely follow-up, and respond to customer inquiries and issues with accuracy and urgency.
  8. Partner with the Territory Sales Manager as the main point of contact for all customer needs. Keep all parties informed through clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  9. Coordinate lead handoffs and conduct regular opportunity reviews with Territory Sales Managers to agree on next steps and advance deals.
  10. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  11. Escalate complaints and technical questions to the appropriate team as needed.Receive, resolve, and document customer complaints, and coordinate product returns.
  12. Work with scheduling to communicate accurate ship dates to customers.
  13. Handle inquiries about repairs, replacement parts, and package tracking.
  14. Support daily department operations.
  15. Share customer feedback on product and customer coverage, buying behavior, and competitive activity with the sales team.
  16. Continuously build product and radiation oncology industry knowledge.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.  Two or more years of customer service experience; inside sales or consultative selling experience preferred.

  • The ability to provide training and information about the safety and proper operation of medical equipment and systems.
  • The ability to read and understand written instructions, and to consistently follow processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • The ability to type 40 wpm and 10-key.
