Provide nursing leadership and oversight for a substance use disorder treatment facility: develop and monitor clinical programs, ensure regulatory compliance (JCAHO, OASAS), manage nursing staff and schedules, collaborate with Executive and Medical Directors on program development and policy, conduct QA and competency evaluations, hire/discipline staff per union contract, and serve on leadership committees.

Provide psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, case management, and coordinated services for outpatient chemical dependence patients. Assist Clinic Director by managing clinic operations, supervising clinical staff, liaising with referral sources and community partners, and supporting marketing and community relations to meet clinic objectives.

Oversee outpatient services, directly supervise 5-20 staff, hire and train employees, assign and direct work, appraise performance, administer rewards and discipline, address complaints, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and provide on-call coverage as needed.

Provide day-to-day HR support across inpatient and outpatient sites, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee and union relations, HRIS administration, policy compliance, and support for managers and employees. Requires working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and employment law in a unionized healthcare environment.

Provide full-charge patient case management in mental health and chemical dependency: assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, managed care communication, individual and group services, and implementation of treatment plans.

Provide evidence-based medical care to adults with substance use disorders in an inpatient setting. Perform addiction medicine assessments, manage withdrawal and medication-assisted treatment, prescribe controlled substances, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and document care. Participate in orientation and meet background/drug screening requirements.
