Leads technical discovery and designs secure, scalable, supportable technology solutions for clients in a managed service provider environment. Develops architectures, Statements of Work, solution diagrams, estimates, bills of materials, and proposals; partners with sales, account management, engineering, project management, procurement, vendors, and clients. Ensures delivery readiness through architecture reviews, documentation, structured handoffs, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of standards and service offerings.

Monitor and investigate security alerts across client environments in a 24/7 security operations center. Analyze threats, identify malicious activity and indicators of compromise, distinguish false positives, support incident response and remediation, develop vulnerability reports, and communicate findings to technical and executive audiences. Participate in shift handoffs and rotating incident triage coverage while collaborating with incident response teams.

Responsibilities include routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, Azure networking, Active Directory, Entra ID, and network security controls. The role conducts assessments, audits, architecture reviews, migrations, upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring, and infrastructure modernization while serving as an escalation point and collaborating with cybersecurity and engineering teams.

Provides Tier 1 remote and onsite IT support for multiple MSP clients. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, networking, printers, and user access issues; deploying workstations; monitoring environments with RMM tools; documenting tickets; performing maintenance; and escalating complex issues. The role also includes client communication, onsite support, project assistance, after-hours on-call participation, and local travel.

Develop and grow CompassMSP’s referral and channel partner ecosystem to generate qualified opportunities, recurring revenue, and pipeline growth. Responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding partners, executing joint go-to-market initiatives, educating partners, conducting business reviews, tracking performance in Salesforce, coordinating with sales and marketing, attending industry events, and maintaining accurate forecasts. The role focuses on managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and technology services partnerships.

Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts, phishing, vulnerabilities, and incidents for managed security clients. Conduct threat hunts, collect evidence, identify root causes, perform containment and remediation, and create incident reports and SOPs. Support deployment of security toolsets, collaborate with analysts and engineers, communicate with clients, and participate in after-hours or on-call coverage.

Provides CIO-level technology consulting to MSP clients, developing IT roadmaps, leading business reviews, aligning technology investments with business goals, managing governance and risk, overseeing cybersecurity, planning budgets, and negotiating with vendors. The role advises executive teams, supports compliance frameworks, improves security posture, and drives technology initiatives, client retention, and related revenue.

Leads pre-sales strategy for managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, compliance, and advisory services. Develops discovery methodologies, supports complex sales cycles, leads presentations and demonstrations, coordinates proposals, RFPs, pricing, and approvals, and ensures effective sales-to-delivery handoffs. Coaches sellers, manages sales enablement, improves deal execution, translates technical solutions into business value, and collaborates with technical, operational, legal, finance, and service-delivery teams.
