Coordinates the Firearms Transfer Assistance Program for high-risk domestic violence and protective order cases. Duties include facilitating firearm transfers and judicial order enforcement, collaborating with courts, law enforcement, probation, prosecutors, advocates, and community agencies, organizing public outreach and specialized training, and tracking program statistics for evaluation and improvement.

Oversees daily operations of assigned swimming pools, splash pads, and aquatic facilities. Supervises, schedules, trains, and evaluates aquatics staff; manages safety procedures, emergency preparedness, certifications, water quality, inspections, programs, rentals, budgets, inventory, records, and customer concerns. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and operational standards while maintaining facility conditions and supporting swim lessons, recreational activities, special events, and community services.

Builds relationships between IT and partner departments, understanding business goals and technology needs. Requires five years of relevant experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site government IT environment.

Provides administrative support for the City Clerk’s Department by maintaining municipal records, processing public records requests, drafting official documents, and preparing council, board, and commission meeting materials. Assists with municipal elections, voter registration, polling logistics, and compliance with applicable laws. Responds to questions from the public, city officials, and employees, while ensuring accurate records, agendas, notices, minutes, and correspondence.

Serves as an on-call pro tem judge for Tucson City Court, presiding over criminal, civil, traffic, code enforcement, protective order, parking, and other hearings. Manages courtroom calendars, conducts proceedings, issues oral and written rulings, applies applicable laws and procedures, supports litigants and court personnel, and serves as a substitute judge during absences.

Prepares and prosecutes misdemeanor cases through hearings, negotiations, trials, and appeals. Reviews police reports and evidence, researches case law, drafts motions and legal memoranda, presents oral arguments, examines witnesses, and makes objections. The prosecutor also tracks related felony cases, handles assigned hearings, assists with onboarding and training new prosecutors, and performs other duties as assigned.

Supports the City of Tucson Police Department by creating dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions. Analyzes data from multiple sources, resolves issues involving programming, visualization, databases, GIS, and statistical methods, and provides insights to improve departmental operations and decision-making. Work is performed under supervision in a mostly office-based environment.
