Unpaid marketing and communications interns create and edit content, support social media strategy, assist with multimedia projects and events, design marketing materials, conduct audience and communications research, update websites, analyze campaign performance, and provide administrative and project support. Interns collaborate with marketing staff and organizational leaders while promoting Chestnut’s mission and maintaining confidentiality.

Provides peer recovery support to adolescents in a school-based setting using lived recovery experience. Responsibilities include engagement before, during, and after treatment; family education; connecting individuals with treatment, recovery communities, and resources; advocacy; service coordination; documentation in EMR systems; and promoting sobriety-based and pro-social activities using recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care principles.

Provides supervised, hands-on exposure to behavioral health and integrated care services. Interns observe individual and group sessions, monitor clients with staff, shadow employment specialists, participate in outreach and groups, and observe direct care across inpatient and outpatient programs. Client populations include individuals experiencing mental health needs, substance use disorders, homelessness, domestic violence, trauma, and other significant challenges.

Engages clients in substance use recovery services, helps identify strengths and barriers, develops recovery supports, provides encouragement, connects clients with recovery communities and ancillary services, coordinates care with treatment teams, and promotes trauma-informed, empowering recovery practices.

Oversees nursing services, staffing, compliance, documentation, and quality improvement at family health center and residential locations. Leads hiring, training, evaluation, and competency development for nursing staff. Provides direct patient assessment, interventions, health consultations, and care coordination with prescribers, laboratories, pharmacies, and healthcare providers. Promotes evidence-based, trauma-informed care and ensures adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.

Provides integrated outpatient behavioral health services for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs. Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy; trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care; evidence-based practices; and connecting clients with community, medical, legal, and social supports. The clinician must complete Community Reinforcement Approach training and certification, maintain electronic records, and support positive community relationships.

Provides recovery-oriented, trauma-informed support to residents in mental health housing. Assists consumers with wellness planning, referrals, advocacy, medication documentation, community connections, and independent living skills. Maintains a safe and supportive residential environment, completes records and shift reports, monitors communications and surveillance, and collaborates with staff and community partners.

Supervise staff and coordinate implementation of a federally funded integrated healthcare grant program. Manage grant deliverables, timelines, performance measures, compliance, data collection, reporting, budgets, and program evaluation. Collaborate with clinical, finance, quality, leadership, and community partners to improve integrated primary and behavioral healthcare services, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify sustainability opportunities.

Provides integrated outpatient mental health and substance use services through individual, family, and group therapy. Uses trauma-informed, evidence-based recovery practices; supports self-directed recovery; connects clients with community resources including medical care, courts, and social services; and promotes positive community and organizational relationships.

Supports revenue cycle billing and accounts receivable by submitting claims, reviewing aging reports, following up on unpaid or denied claims, communicating with payers and utilization review staff, and documenting billing activity in the EHR. Maintains organized records, addresses billing and coding issues, and collaborates with internal teams while providing professional customer service and protecting confidential patient information.

Provide mental health and substance use assessments, individualized treatment and discharge planning, evidence-based individual, family, and group counseling, and clinical documentation. Provides recovery-oriented, trauma-informed support to individuals receiving mental health services in homes and community settings. Responsibilities include delivering services from treatment and safety plans, documenting care, making referrals, advocating for consumers, coordinating with families and community partners, participating in team meetings, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires either a high school diploma with five years of supervised mental health experience or a qualifying bachelor’s degree, plus a driver’s license, insurance, and computer proficiency.
