Ensure game security, policy compliance, opening and closing procedures, guest service, staff performance, safety, and team development. Mentor employees, provide staffing and corrective-action input, and report irregular play or hazards to management.

Assist the Starter with safely loading and holding horses in and around starting gates. Protect horses and jockeys throughout the race-start process, react calmly in high-pressure situations, and collaborate with the starting gate team. The role requires horse-handling aptitude, physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerance for demanding racetrack environmental conditions. The role requires strong horsemanship, ownership of at least three horses, physical endurance, a valid driver’s license, computer proficiency, gaming authority licensing, and the ability to work safely in hazardous environments.
