Supports planning, readiness, execution, and continuous improvement for major plant turnarounds. Responsibilities include field verification, work package development, readiness reviews, contractor coordination, equipment inspections, KPI reporting, capital project tracking, commissioning support, process safety activities, and reliability initiatives. The intern will maintain action trackers, develop a turnaround report or dashboard, participate in safety and lessons-learned activities, and deliver a final presentation.

Supervise Project Engineers and contract staff responsible for capital projects supporting plant turnarounds. Manage budgets, estimates, schedules, technical designs, construction packages, vendor coordination, safety and regulatory compliance, and project execution across chemical manufacturing units. Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, EHSS, Procurement, and external design and fabrication firms. Provide status updates, resolve technical issues, improve turnaround processes, and develop direct reports.

Conduct and lead EHS compliance and management-system audits at manufacturing locations and terminals. Build knowledge of regulatory and internal standards, coordinate audit teams and third-party auditors, document findings in the EMIS database, support EHS reporting, and contribute to continuous safety improvement. Requires familiarity with EHS laws, industrial operations, auditing practices, data analytics, communication, and travel to sites up to 50% of the time.
