The Lead Administrative Assistant is responsible for a broad range of highly confidential and critical duties. This role provides comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Director of Corporate Turnaround, the Director of Corporate Engineering, and their respective teams, while also offering direction and guidance to employees across the organization.
The position requires extensive knowledge of the CF organization and operates with a high degree of independence. The incumbent must demonstrate strong decision making skills and sound judgment. Success in this role depends on close collaboration with leadership, site personnel, and cross functional teams throughout the CF Industries network.

Job Description:

Major Responsibilities: 

Primary Responsibilities Supporting the Corporate Turnaround and Corporate Engineering Directors

·         Coordinate complex domestic and international travel for plant sites, fabrication shops, and repair facilities; manage and update employee travel profiles within SAP Concur.

·         Deliver logistical support for onsite engagements, including plant tours, leadership visits, and conferences.

·         Facilitates onboarding and ensures new hires are effectively trained in organizational policies and procedures.

·         Fosters collaboration and builds a strong, unified culture across a team operating in multiple geographic locations.

·         Manage recurring monthly Microsoft Teams meetings with network leadership to support Turnaround Milestones communication.

·         Manage quarterly budget reviews, travel reporting, and expense tracking; contribute to budget forecasting activities.

·         Enter SAP requisitions, approve invoices, and manage procurement of supplies across multiple vendor platforms.

·         Safeguard confidential information and ensure discretion in all communications.

·         Facilitate coordination between network site administrators and field personnel to align shared resource needs during turnaround preparation and execution.

·         Support strategic projects and initiatives that advance Corporate Turnaround and Engineering Team priorities.

·         Maintain governance of the Corporate Turnaround SharePoint site, ensuring documentation is organized, accurate, and accessible.

·         Lead planning and execution of the Annual Turnaround Leadership Conference.

·         Manage the Accuris Engineering Standards annual subscription and respond to document requests.

·         Maintain advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power BI

·         Prepare and distribute routine reports in a timely manner.

·         Assist in developing, reporting, and monitoring the Directors’ budgets.

·         Ensures open, effective communication with executive‑level administrative assistants regarding quarterly in‑person GM meeting and SLT plant tours at the Donaldsonville site.

·         Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.

Incumbent Attributes: 

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid communication skills include the ability to effectively converse, compose written documents and interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Capable of handling several projects and support activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities with little supervision.
  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a high focus on accuracy.
  • Must be able to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
  • The ability to prove drug and alcohol free at random or for cause.
  • Strong communication skills over the phone, Teams or other non-face to face mediums.
