Originates grain through direct producer and elevator contact, manages sales from lead generation through closing, and applies grain merchandising, hedging, risk management, and pricing principles. Develops customer relationships, conducts farm sales calls, maintains CRM records, supports cross-selling, monitors market and competitor activity, and achieves revenue and profit goals while following grain marketing and credit policies.

Leads IT infrastructure strategy, availability, budgeting, lifecycle planning, vendor management, disaster recovery, and service levels across distributed agricultural operations. Oversees network, servers, storage, cloud services, identity, endpoints, telephony, and location support. Partners with business and executive leaders, translates technology risks into financial and operational impacts, manages infrastructure roadmaps and capital plans, and leads a distributed infrastructure team through hiring, coaching, incident management, and succession planning.

Assists with receiving, unloading, loading, shipping, and inventory management for grain and agronomy products. Supports fertilizer and chemical mixing, plant and blender operations, train loading, grain quality monitoring, scale operations, and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles. Completes paperwork, maintains housekeeping and safety standards, provides customer service, and supports other locations as needed.

Supports grain merchandisers and specialists by purchasing grain, developing producer relationships, conducting farm sales calls, and educating customers on risk-management tools. Maintains grain contracts, pricing, hedging, basis analysis, customer records, and market research while collaborating with location managers and sales teams. This transitional trainee role develops expertise toward becoming a Grain Specialist.

Installs, configures, maintains, and repairs workstations, software, printers, peripherals, office equipment, communication systems, and cabling. Provides on-site and remote troubleshooting and end-user support for hardware, software, networking, and related technologies. Escalates issues, assists with network installation and support, provides user training, maintains fuel-site and automation equipment, and participates in a rotating weekly on-call schedule.
