The Sales Development Manager will lead a team of SDRs, drive automation in sales processes, manage pipeline metrics, and develop training playbooks while maintaining personal sales quotas initially.

Lead and grow a backend engineering team while staying hands-on: design and build Python/FastAPI services with Temporal and Postgres, own roadmap and delivery, set SLIs/SLOs, drive observability and reliability, run engineering rituals, hire and coach engineers, and improve quality with DevOps and AI tooling.

Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. Use CRM and sales tools to source leads, conduct discovery conversations, qualify prospects, schedule demos, nurture relationships, and report on lead-generation metrics to grow the sales pipeline.
