Responsibilities include productionizing statistical and machine learning workflows, translating R analyses into Python, building interactive data applications, integrating structured and unstructured data, and implementing reliable AI safeguards. The role collaborates with scientists, clinicians, product stakeholders, and engineers while maintaining secure, tested, compliant software for sensitive healthcare data.

Processes patient specimens, receives and accessions samples in LIMS, supports molecular laboratory testing, maintains instruments and consumables, performs data entry, and participates in quality control, quality assurance, and research studies under CLS supervision. Documents corrective actions, maintains confidentiality of protected health information, follows laboratory protocols and regulations, and escalates operational issues to laboratory leadership.

Lead scientific and technical strategy for NavDx product portfolio, driving assay development, analytical validation, translational research, and clinical evidence generation. Oversee cross-functional product teams, laboratory transfer, regulatory and reimbursement support, external collaborations, and team building to advance HPV-related and future oncology diagnostics from concept through clinical implementation and commercialization.

Lead establishment and governance of customer master data across CareDx, build golden records, manage Salesforce stewardship, perform identity resolution and initial data cleanup, ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of PHI/PII, operationalize data governance, partner on system integrations, and document/train stakeholders.

Lead statistical strategy for biomarker discovery and product development in transplant diagnostics. Design clinical studies, develop analysis plans and pipelines, perform complex analyses, contribute to regulatory submissions, mentor staff, and champion AI-enabled analytical workflows to ensure reproducible, scientifically rigorous results.

Design, configure, and scale LIMS solutions to support end-to-end laboratory workflows. Act as technical SME for lab operations, build integrations and custom extensions, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deploy and validate systems.

Manage payer claim follow-up, denials, and appeals to maximize reimbursement. Investigate denial trends, escalate complex disputes, collaborate with payer dispute resolution and market access teams, assist patients in appeals, and maintain timely collections via portals and outbound calls.

Lead and maintain the electronic Quality Management System and quality processes (CAPA, complaints, supplier control, audits) to ensure CLIA/FDA/GCLP compliance. Support batch record reviews, design control for LDTs, trainings, internal/external audits, and cross-functional quality guidance to promote continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Provide statistical expertise for clinical study design, analysis, sample size calculations, and reporting for diagnostics products in solid organ transplantation. Develop analysis plans, analytical pipelines, and QC results. Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, lab operations, and publications; represent biostatistics on project teams and support data interpretation and presentation.

Lead the NavDx franchise across HPV-driven cancers with full P&L accountability. Set franchise strategy, drive market shaping, evidence generation, guideline inclusion, upstream/downstream marketing, MSL and medical education, sales leadership, and cross-functional execution to grow volume, revenue, and long-term franchise value.

Lead and develop the Accounts Payable team, manage end-to-end AP processes, ensure timely invoice payment and SOX-compliant controls, optimize workflows in NetSuite/Coupa, drive electronic payments and vendor onboarding, support audits and reconciliations, and partner with Treasury, Procurement, and stakeholders to improve efficiency and cash flow.

Manage and grow transplant diagnostics accounts by developing and executing strategic account plans, building stakeholder relationships, forecasting pipeline, collaborating with internal teams, and driving adoption and revenue growth. Requires clinical and product knowledge, strong communication, and high travel.

Lead the architecture and development of CareDx's enterprise BI ecosystem. Own Power BI modeling, DAX optimization, governance (RLS, deployment pipelines), and self-service enablement. Collaborate with data engineering to build scalable Databricks/Delta Lake/PySpark pipelines, leverage Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse architecture, mentor BI developers, translate business needs into analytics solutions, and drive BI performance and reliability.

Lead end-to-end execution of clinical trials including start-up, monitoring, vendor oversight, site activation, enrollment, data quality, regulatory compliance, eTMF/CTMS management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination to deliver studies on time, on budget, and inspection-ready.
