Supports the South African finance team with financial and management reporting, payments, invoicing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, inventory, month-end and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, tax and VAT submissions, statutory documentation, and audit support. The role also coordinates project accounting with engineering and asset management teams and requires strong communication, technical accounting, Excel, Xero, and reporting skills.

Support the ESG team by collecting and analyzing environmental, social, governance, and health and safety data; researching ESG trends and benchmarks; contributing to strategy; preparing reports, investor materials, presentations, and sustainability content; maintaining KPI trackers; and supporting ESG projects, events, and cross-functional initiatives.

This role involves overseeing financial operations, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial advice to support decision making.

Support South African sales with technical solutions: perform EYAs (Helioscope), analyse meter data, design Solar PV and BESS, review EPC designs, liaise with partners and project managers, develop SOPs, and travel periodically for site and stakeholder meetings.

Support sales and engineering for C&I solar projects: perform energy yield analyses, interpret meter data, design solar PV and BESS systems, review EPC designs, liaise with partners and project management, develop SOPs, and travel across South Africa and Sub‑Saharan Africa as needed.

The Senior Financial Structurer will manage solar transactions, perform financial analysis, review legal documentation, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include pitching innovative solutions, executing secondary market opportunities, and strategic planning for solar projects in South Africa.
