Supports water utility rate cases by analyzing expenses, capital budgets, sales, revenues, and regulatory policies. Develops revenue requirement forecasts through financial models, reconciles data, reviews testimony, drafts regulatory testimony, prepares data-request responses and offset filings, and coordinates compliance filings. The role collaborates with internal departments, districts, consultants, and state agency staff while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Requires on-site work in San Jose or Sacramento.

Manage water and sewer capital improvement projects from design through construction. Track budgets, schedules, and progress; perform engineering calculations and infrastructure research; prepare bids, reports, maps, and submittal reviews; lead meetings and present to public agencies; direct technicians and interns; ensure project safety and continuous improvement. Provide technical support for asset management, CMMS, and GIS.

Collect, document, and deliver water samples per DOH, EPA, and Safe Drinking Water Act requirements. Prepare sample containers, maintain sampling and flushing records, inspect and maintain sample sites and well security, operate chlorine pumps and motor vehicles, handle hazardous materials, respond to customer inquiries, and perform related on-site duties.

Prepare corporate income, property, excise, and franchise tax returns; prepare monthly income tax provisions and maintain tax depreciation, deferred tax assets, and gain/loss schedules in TFA. Coordinate tax transactions across districts, support audits and government informational requests, prepare SEC/CPUC and other regulatory reports, reconcile regulatory accounts and unclaimed property, maintain tax calendar and workpapers, and perform related duties to support financial reporting and compliance.

Lead Workday HRIS initiatives by gathering requirements, configuring Payroll/Time/Absence modules, testing and deploying solutions, supporting year-end and SOX compliance, managing releases and integrations, and partnering with Payroll, HR, Accounting, and stakeholders to improve processes and user adoption.

Senior in-house counsel focused on complex commercial real estate transactions and land use matters. Lead due diligence, resolve title and entitlement issues, draft and negotiate real estate/construction/procurement contracts, advise operations and engineering, manage outside counsel and litigation exposures, ensure regulatory and compliance oversight for regulated utility subsidiaries, and support executive and cross-functional teams to execute infrastructure and strategic initiatives.

Provide high-level administrative and confidential support to corporate officers, including travel and expense documentation, board materials, calendar and meeting management, document preparation and presentations, stakeholder communications, event logistics, file organization, and tracking action items. Work is on-site in San Jose and requires independent judgment, strong organization, and timely execution.

Perform electrical and controls engineering for water facilities including design drawings, specifications, and advanced calculations (short circuit, arc flash, voltage drop, breaker coordination). Manage projects from bidding through construction, procure equipment, prepare RFPs, monitor costs, support operations/maintenance, provide construction inspection, and present to public and agencies. Use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; work on-site in San Jose.

Reads customer and wellhead meters using a handheld device, performs collections (turn-offs/turn-ons, cash collection), communicates with customers, inspects services, installs/repairs meters and transmitters, hangs notices, and reports meter tampering or irregularities. Works outdoors in varying weather and performs other assigned field duties.

Manage water system operations and maintenance including distribution, treatment, wells, reservoirs, SCADA oversight, budgets, capital projects, regulatory compliance, public outreach, staff leadership, training, safety, and cross-department collaboration. Serve as company representative in public forums and support continuous improvement and on-call duties.
