Lead group procurement strategy for indirect spend, deliver annual savings, run sourcing and supplier negotiations, improve supplier performance, enforce governance and contract management, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and develop the procurement team to realise P&L benefits.

Perform stock replenishment, merchandising and order assembly; handle customer queries professionally; follow food safety, health & safety and security procedures; maintain housekeeping; work in ambient, chill and freezer areas, both independently and as part of a team.

Receive, check and replenish chilled and frozen deliveries; manage stock, returns and damaged/out-of-date products; maintain paperwork and HACCP/health & safety compliance; operate in ambient, chilled and frozen environments; assist customers and keep areas clean.

Receive and process incoming goods using in-house systems; perform stock control, rotation and stocktakes; handle returns, damaged/out-of-date products; work in chilled/frozen areas; maintain cleanliness and paperwork; assist customers and follow food safety, health & safety, and security procedures.

Manage the Cash & Carry branch to achieve budgeted margin and profits by optimising sales, stock replenishment, marketing, overheads, debtor and cash management while enforcing company policies, health & safety, security and HACCP standards.

Manage and process multiple weekly payrolls for independent retailers using SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP. Handle payroll payments, deductions, onboarding data, compliance with Revenue, queries, reporting, and joiner/leaver processing while supporting data accuracy and continuous improvement.

Perform routine quality control checks, audits, and verifications of documentation, stock, and processes. Monitor compliance with internal standards and the Wholesale Standards Programme, investigate and report discrepancies, prepare regular quality and compliance reports, support audits, stock takes, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives, and liaise with departments on quality issues.

Process customer orders quickly and accurately at checkout, handle money, assist customers and sales, support replenishment, report shortages, follow health & safety and security, and maintain professional customer service.
