Design and architect back-office systems and products for bus and rail markets. Develop C# software, lead development teams, support technical sales, apply cloud solutions, source control, scaled-Agile frameworks, and automated test practices (TDD/BDD).

Identify and win new business for the Mechanical Engineering division through solutions selling across varied projects (pipework to bespoke machinery). Build and leverage industry relationships, work with technical support to scope solutions, operate nationally from a home base, and meet sales targets.

Lead development and delivery of complex transport/ticketing systems. Own technical delivery, act as customer technical contact, guide technical teams, resolve issues, and oversee cross-functional hardware and software integration. Work with Programme Manager and other Systems Engineers. Require systems engineering experience in time-critical environments; payments/ticketing experience and MBSE (SysML/UML) are advantageous.

Full life-cycle electronic design of ticketing, payment and tariff solutions from concept through manufacturing. Work across digital and analogue design, support high-volume commercial product development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with CAD/CAM workflows and EMC testing.

Manage technical bid and tender responses: assess opportunities, ensure technical and commercial deliverability, coordinate with project teams, meet strict deadlines, and hand over contracts after wins.
