The Grant Accountant performs grant accounting functions, supports grant administration, ensures compliance with regulations, and collaborates with management on processes.

Provide age-appropriate developmental services to infants and toddlers (0-3), working with families in natural environments (homes/villages). Travel regularly to meet families, join a multidisciplinary team, support transitions before age three, and complete state-mandated Part C and Alaska SEED credentialing.

Coordinates clinical quality assurance, regulatory compliance, audits, accreditation preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collects and analyzes clinical data, identifies trends and risks, supports corrective actions, develops policies and procedures, trains clinical staff, and investigates quality issues including adverse events and patient complaints.

Provides comprehensive medical care across outpatient, emergency, inpatient, and village clinic settings. Conducts examinations, diagnoses conditions, orders and interprets tests, develops treatment plans, monitors outcomes, educates patients, maintains medical records, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. The physician also supervises clinical personnel and practices independently under the Chief of Staff or Chief Medical Officer while delivering culturally responsive care.

Maintain compliant medical billing and collections across IHS, self-pay, commercial, Medicare and Medicaid payers. Mentor Biller Specialist I, handle multi-line phones and money, resolve billing issues, ensure HIPAA-compliant patient interactions, and obtain certification and/or medical terminology credentials within one year while working with minimal supervision.

Verify and dispense medications, counsel patients, manage inventory and records, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise pharmacy staff, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapy and patient safety.

Oversee and administer the WIC program and develop community health education across Bristol Bay. Prepare reports, manage grant-related tasks, provide nutrition counseling and individualized care plans, conduct outreach to increase WIC participation, train and monitor vendors, coordinate with tribal and regional programs, and supervise WIC Technician.

Provide comprehensive eye care including exams, prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and managing ocular disease, pre/post-op care and referrals, patient education, recordkeeping, and continuing education.

The HIM Manager oversees Health Information Management operations, develops goals and budgets, ensures compliance with privacy laws, trains staff, and collaborates with healthcare providers.

Lead and manage audiology clinical operations, supervise staff, ensure high-quality diagnostics and treatment, manage budgets and compliance, analyze data for quality improvement, and run community outreach to promote hearing health.

The CHAP Itinerant provides health aide services across rural villages, ensures compliance, and collaborates for optimized patient care.

Provides front-desk communication and administrative support for the hospital and Executive Office. Answers and directs incoming calls, relays messages, pages staff, implements emergency intercom procedures, handles mail distribution, and delivers exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
