The role also manages lost-and-found records, enforces property-removal policies, completes healthcare security training, and follows required health and safety protocols.

Provides healthcare security support in an emergency department by performing basic security functions, identifying and managing risks, communicating with stakeholders, delivering professional client service, and supporting leadership. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, Guard Card, power to arrest, use-of-force and weapons-of-mass-destruction training, two or more years of healthcare security and customer service experience, and emergency-room security experience.
