The PMHNP Residency Program provides hands-on training for recent graduates to deliver psychiatric care for children and adolescents, emphasizing collaboration and mentorship in a supportive environment.

Participate in a 9–12 month PMHNP residency delivering psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and integrated treatment planning for children and adolescents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, attend supervisory and team meetings, manage records and diagnostic testing, provide family education, and work hybrid clinic/telehealth shifts with scheduled after-school hours.

Participate in a 9–12 month PMHNP residency delivering psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and integrated care for children and adolescents. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, attend supervisory and team meetings, manage records and testing, and receive mentorship and didactic training. Program transitions successful graduates into senior clinical roles.

Nine- to twelve-month residency preparing recent PMHNP graduates to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrated treatment for children and adolescents. Duties include supervised clinical work, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation per HIPAA, participation in cohort and supervisory meetings, family education, and diagnostic testing management. Successful residents transition to at least two years on the Blackbird clinical team after completion.
