Conduct phone intakes for individuals seeking shelter, assess emergency placement needs, process referrals, and coordinate with service providers and medical personnel. Collect client information using HIPAA practices, enter call and service data into HMIS, provide homeless-services information, arrange transportation, and escalate urgent issues. The role requires compassionate, nonjudgmental communication, CPR and First Aid certification, data-entry skills, problem-solving, and a valid California driver’s license with access to an insured personal vehicle.

Provides case management, housing placement, and supportive services to college students in a rapid rehousing program. Conducts intake and assessments, develops individualized action plans, coordinates with colleges, landlords, property managers, and community agencies, and connects participants with employment, health, legal, and behavioral health resources. Maintains case records, HMIS and AWARDS data, reports, and documentation. Transports clients as needed and supports life-skills development, housing stability, and program quality initiatives.

Provides case management for foster youth and young parents ages 18–21. Responsibilities include assessments, individualized service plans, life-skills coaching, educational and employment support, community referrals, care coordination, documentation, regulatory compliance, crisis response, and discharge planning. The role manages a caseload of up to 12 youth, participates in team meetings and quality initiatives, and supports independent living and self-sufficiency.

Manages the HR department and staff while overseeing employee relations, compliance, benefits, leave administration, talent acquisition, talent management, reporting, and employee engagement. Partners with leadership, legal counsel, Finance, and Programs teams; administers labor-law compliance and HR systems; leads HR projects and training; and uses workforce data to advise executives.

Processes bi-weekly payroll for approximately 220 employees, including direct deposits, garnishments, benefits, deductions, and retirement loans. Prepares payroll journals, accounting entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supports payroll tax filings, audits, workers’ compensation reviews, and Form 5500 reporting. Reviews timesheets, resolves discrepancies, maintains payroll records, trains staff, and partners with HR and Paycom to improve processes.

The Grant Writer develops, researches, edits, and submits corporate, foundation, and government grant proposals. Responsibilities include researching funders and community needs, managing funder relationships and grant databases, tracking contracts and agreements, maintaining grant files, and coordinating reporting requirements with internal teams. The role requires strong writing, communication, organizational, research, and deadline-management skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Directs contract and grant compliance across government, foundation, and corporate funding sources. Reviews agreements, identifies risks, coordinates stakeholders, conducts internal audits, monitors subcontractors, oversees compliance reporting and documentation, and maintains audit-ready records. Provides staff training on regulations, allowable costs, and documentation standards while updating organizational policies and procedures. Serves as a liaison to auditors and grant officers.
