Belvedere Trading Inclusion & Diversity
Frequently Asked Questions
Belvedere has made diversity in leadership and senior roles a visible priority, and we back that up with systems aimed at widening access to advancement. We have a dedicated diversity and inclusion function, diversity-focused employee groups, mandated unconscious bias training, and hiring practices designed to broaden the candidate pool, including partnerships with diverse student and professional organizations. Leadership at all levels within Belvedere is made up of highly diverse individuals, including people of different races, ethnicities, nationalities, gender-identities, orientations, and both professional and personal backgrounds.
Belvedere builds inclusion and fairness into hiring by making the process more accessible, more structured and more measurable. Job descriptions are purposefully created using gender-neutral language, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply, lowering unnecessary entry barriers in the interview process. We also build partnerships with local and national student and professional groups to widen our candidate pool, and use recruiting data to identify trends in sourcing and areas that deserve more attention.
We invest heavily into the employee experience. Belonging is reinforced through employee resource groups, employee-led clubs, company-wide and team-specific events, and equitable access to growth. We are always striving to create more parity and equity across office locations, elevate employee voices through culture and women's initiatives, and give people multiple ways to connect through mentorship, wellness, volunteering, and community-building programs. The result is an environment where different perspectives are valued, feedback is welcomed and people are supported as individuals and teammates.
