The Senior Associate, CMBS Debt will manage CMBS investments, monitor credit performance, analyze reports, and develop investment recommendations. They will mentor juniors and enhance reporting tools while collaborating with servicers and preparing management updates.

Manage and monitor a portfolio of CMBS/CRE-structured products; assess credit at deal, loan, property, tenant and bond levels; re-underwrite and reforecast cash flows; develop investment recommendations; maintain watchlists and risk frameworks; liaise with servicers and trustees; build surveillance tools and dashboards; prepare investment memoranda and client reporting; mentor junior staff and support ad hoc client requests.

Support oversight of a commercial real estate equity portfolio through financial modeling, cash-flow reforecasting, operating performance analysis, due diligence on new investments, monthly/quarterly reporting, leasing reviews, and mentoring junior analysts.

Support portfolio management for a large commercial real estate fund by owning and enhancing fund models, forecasting fund-level performance, advising on hold/exit strategy, delivering pro forma KPIs for acquisitions, building automated dashboards, and providing analysis for investor relations and senior management.
