Supports poultry Live Operations through accounting, cost reconciliations, inventory counts, reporting, KPI tracking, grower settlements, contract compliance, and database maintenance. Collaborates with vendors, accounting, IT, breeders, hatchery administrators, and operational teams. Acts as the subject matter expert and liaison for Live Accounting software, troubleshooting issues and supporting implementations. The role also assists with scheduling, bird-weight reporting, period-end processes, and data-driven operational initiatives.

Perform poultry production duties including safely handling, processing, packing, weighing, moving, and inspecting raw products. Serves as a strategic HR advisor to leaders and employees across multiple functions. Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, organizational design, succession planning, engagement, change management, HR metrics analysis, policy interpretation, investigations, and collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence. The role requires strong business acumen, communication skills, employment law knowledge, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Manage and grow strategic customer accounts, build senior-level relationships, identify sales and product growth opportunities, and develop account strategies. Serve as the primary customer advocate while partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Monitor forecasts, analyze sales data, support product placement and SKU growth, lead initiatives, and maintain strong customer and internal communications.

Lead and support poultry catching crews during safe, humane, and timely loading operations. Supervise and train employees, enforce animal welfare, safety, biosecurity, and quality standards, coordinate with live production and transportation teams, resolve operational issues, maintain equipment, and assist with hands-on catching duties. The role requires physical stamina, effective communication, leadership, and flexibility to work extended hours in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Supervise poultry breeder flock operations from placement through 65 weeks, including feeding, weighing, vaccinations, testing, biosecurity, housing, egg quality, and flock health. Visit and evaluate contracted growers, coordinate feed deliveries, oversee employees and vaccination crews, maintain records, and support hatching egg production while ensuring company policies, safety, and quality standards are followed.

Oversee daily hatchery department operations, hourly staff, production priorities, product quality, GMP/SSOP and HACCP compliance, safety, order fulfillment, productivity, staffing, training, discipline, waste, yields, and overtime. Communicate goals and performance results to employees and coordinate with managers and other supervisors to meet department objectives. Address safety and quality concerns promptly while ensuring animal welfare and proper handling.

Perform thigh deboning and trimming on first shift following company safety, quality, and processing speed standards. Work on production line, operate around industrial equipment, stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and rotate to other departments as needed. Maintain strong attendance and prior food or poultry production experience is required.

Lead environmental services across multiple Fredericksburg-area facilities by setting and enforcing cleanliness standards, developing SOPs and inspection programs, coaching supervisors and technicians, managing schedules, inventories, and vendors, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous improvement to maintain visitor-ready, safe, and organized non-production spaces.

Catch chickens safely and humanely to meet production needs. Follow animal welfare, biosecurity, safety, and quality protocols. Perform physically demanding, team-based work in variable environmental conditions, work scheduled 8–10+ hour shifts, report safety/quality concerns, and perform other assigned duties.

Support production and inventory operations within cost accounting/finance by ensuring accurate financial and performance data capture, completing production orders, providing first-tier system support, identifying and tracking variances, delivering department-level P&L, representing finance in process changes, and driving continuous improvement on the production floor.
