We are seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with high-profile, strategic customers. This position will be responsible for maximizing the value of customer partnerships, driving account growth, and developing strategies that support new product opportunities, promotions, merchandising, and overall business development.

The ideal candidate will serve as a strong brand ambassador, product expert, and customer advocate. This role requires an individual who can build trusted relationships at the senior level, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Manage and grow all aspects of assigned customer accounts.
  • Communicate with customers at a senior level regarding account needs, issues, opportunities, and inquiries.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact and advocate for assigned customers.
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate relevant information to internal teams.
  • Maintain strong internal communication to ensure customer needs and expectations are understood and addressed.
  • Develop innovative ideas and strategies to support customer and company initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize existing and new products to create additional value for customers.
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to establish goals, strategies, and projects.
  • Lead key initiatives and projects that support sales growth and customer service objectives.
  • Monitor and support sales forecasts and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Stay informed about company products, industry trends, and customer needs to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related fieldand/or
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Account Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in protein sales, food manufacturing, or the consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing key accounts and developing customer relationships.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales information and identify growth opportunities.
