In the Member Experience team, you will provide exceptional customer support, resolve issues, gather feedback, and enhance member experience through effective communication and collaboration with various teams.

Own video projects from concept through delivery, including production, directing, shooting, editing, and finishing. Create paid and organic content for product education, launches, social channels, Meta, and YouTube. Translate ambiguous briefs into compelling creative, develop performance-focused concepts and iterations, maintain organized media assets, and collaborate with creative and marketing teams. The role requires strong visual instincts, independent execution, fast turnaround, and comfort using emerging creative and AI tools.

Supports hardware reliability and validation for battery modules, inverters, and interconnects. Responsibilities include designing test fixtures, building automated test rigs, configuring DAQ systems, running accelerated life and environmental tests, analyzing test data in Python, troubleshooting hardware, conducting root cause analysis, and documenting findings.

Hands-on engineering internship supporting the design, prototyping, testing, debugging, documentation, and production of battery, inverter, and microgrid hardware. The intern will collaborate with senior engineers on mechanical and electrical systems, diagnose thermal and integration issues, and contribute across R&D and high-volume manufacturing.

Owns technical product experiences across the member lifecycle, from data-driven marketing and conversion through post-conversion retention. Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Support, Product, and Design to identify journey gaps, acquire and connect data, rapidly ship MVPs, measure outcomes, and iterate. Builds scalable product architectures and roadmaps addressing conversion and retention challenges while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Develops Base’s strategy for entering domestic and international distributed energy storage markets. The role evaluates market opportunities, builds business cases, manages cross-functional market launches, coordinates utilities, regulators, vendors, and internal teams, and tracks performance metrics such as enrollment, installed capacity, and operational KPIs.

Create and manage Base’s organic social presence across major platforms. Responsibilities include developing content strategy and calendars, scripting, filming, editing, writing, publishing, community engagement, trend response, cross-functional collaboration, and performance analysis. The role requires turning energy, grid, product, customer, and employee stories into engaging platform-native content while managing fast-moving workflows and recurring content series.

Manage Base’s security governance, risk, and compliance program across software, hardware, manufacturing, field operations, and energy infrastructure. Responsibilities include running SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs, collecting evidence, testing controls, coordinating audits, maintaining policies and risk registers, assessing vendors, mapping controls to security frameworks, managing customer security assessments, and delivering security awareness training.

Own the architecture and operation of distributed compute networks across hundreds of sites. Responsibilities include routing, switching, firewalls, fiber and carrier strategy, circuit procurement, overlay networking, BGP, site-to-cloud connectivity, automation, monitoring, segmentation, certificate management, and field support. The role will establish standardized network infrastructure, enable reliable inference traffic, and support site deployments while improving operational scalability.

Supports go-to-market initiatives across marketing, sales, and customer support. Responsibilities include improving customer acquisition, managing customer relationships, analyzing interactions in HubSpot, supporting sales targets, researching target segments, generating outbound leads, and launching inbound marketing campaigns.

Lead the electrical architecture and technical direction for energy storage systems, including inverters, battery management systems, and microgrid interconnect devices. Own product development from concept through high-volume manufacturing and field deployment, including schematics, PCB strategy, bring-up, validation, reliability, and end-of-line testing. Build and mentor an electrical engineering team, debug complex system issues, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing functions, and drive continuous product improvement.

The Hardware Sourcing Intern will manage supplier relationships, support product development, create RFPs, negotiate terms, and implement sourcing strategies in hardware manufacturing.

Source assigned parts by running RFQs, comparing supplier quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, building cost models, qualifying suppliers, and tracking supplier cost, delivery, quality, and risk. The intern works cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance while supporting in-house battery manufacturing and second-source qualification.

Accounting Intern supporting month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, bank and credit card activity, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, depreciation schedules, audit and tax support, reporting improvements, documentation, and ad hoc analysis. The role also involves using AI tools to automate repetitive accounting tasks and reconciliations while gaining hands-on experience with accounting processes at a growing energy technology company.

Lead frontend development across Base’s web and mobile customer applications. Set frontend architecture, technical strategy, standards, tooling, and component systems across multiple product surfaces. Own major experiences from concept through launch, collaborate with backend, product, and design teams, and translate complex energy systems into intuitive interfaces. Mentor engineers, influence cross-team technical decisions, improve developer experience, and use analytics and experimentation to enhance the member experience.

Review installation close-out photos and documentation to verify quality and code compliance, manage rework tickets, track installer performance metrics, maintain quality records, and update QC checklists to drive continuous improvement.

Supports the creative team by shooting, editing, and producing video content for product, homeowner, installation, social, paid, and organic channels. Helps develop ideas from loose briefs, contributes to campaigns and productions, organizes footage and creative assets, and uses AI and emerging tools to improve workflows. The role offers hands-on experience in storytelling, visual production, and content creation within a fast-paced startup environment.

Design creative for paid ads, brand campaigns, and marketing initiatives; build reusable Figma templates and creative libraries; conduct competitive research; and collaborate with designers and marketers to refine concepts using performance data and creative judgment.

Supports go-to-market initiatives, member acquisition, marketing campaigns, funnel optimization, target-segment research, inbound lead generation, and outbound sales efforts. The intern will analyze member interactions and campaign performance using HubSpot, maintain member relationships, and collaborate across marketing, sales, support, product, and design teams in an in-person startup environment.

Support the design, documentation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and quality assurance of distributed battery installations. Analyze field data, identify recurring technical issues, improve engineering and deployment processes, and coordinate with operations and field teams to ensure safe, repeatable, and scalable installations across new markets.
