Leads a sustaining mechanical engineering team supporting released and legacy folding carton machinery. Owns post-release issue resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, product improvements, cost reduction, obsolescence management, change control, and customer technical support. Coordinates cross-functional work with manufacturing, supply chain, service, electrical, controls, and product engineering teams. Develops engineering standards, prioritizes workloads, manages schedules, coaches team members, and drives Lean, quality, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Manages capital controls and automation projects, including hardware and panel design, PLC and HMI programming, SCADA, power distribution, estimating, scheduling, staffing, contracts, quality control, and client satisfaction. Leads regional controls and automation business development, mentors professionals, supports recruiting, oversees reporting and standards, and maintains client relationships. Requires extensive industrial automation experience, Rockwell proficiency, electrical control system design expertise, and travel for project implementation and startup activities.

Deploy and commission BMS and EPMS systems for greenfield data centers. Responsibilities include application deployment, point-to-point checkout, communication protocol configuration, instrument calibration, Ignition application commissioning, and onsite leadership of subcontractors. The role requires significant onsite work, extensive travel or relocation, an engineering degree or equivalent experience, and at least five years of controls startup experience. BMS and EPMS commissioning experience is preferred.
