Leads Bamboo’s architecture team and establishes enterprise architecture standards, roadmaps, governance, and reusable patterns across Guidewire, cloud, digital applications, integrations, and AI solutions. Manages and develops architects, guides architecture throughout delivery, evaluates technologies and vendors, and partners with engineering, product, security, DevOps, and business stakeholders. Oversees scalable, secure, observable, resilient solutions, including API and event-driven integrations, Guidewire modernization, and responsible generative AI adoption.

Designs, builds, validates, and maintains governed analytical data models, curated datasets, and reporting layers. Translates business requirements into data mappings, transformation logic, and reusable BI datasets. Develops SQL and dbt tests, performs data reconciliation and root-cause analysis, optimizes Snowflake models, and supports dashboards, reports, UAT, and regulatory extracts. Collaborates with stakeholders, data engineers, architects, analysts, and business teams across insurance and corporate functions.

Directs software engineering teams developing internal and customer-facing insurance applications. Establishes coding standards and development methodologies, oversees architecture and scalability, manages delivery timelines, and leads Technical Leads and Software Engineers. Requires hands-on Java and full-stack development, Guidewire implementation expertise, SaaS experience, people management, and property and casualty insurance knowledge.

Owns profitable growth and P&L performance for Homeowners insurance programs in Colorado and Texas. Builds state plans, manages catastrophe and portfolio risk, guides underwriting and pricing decisions, leads regulatory filings, and coordinates distribution, actuarial, product, claims, operations, technology, carrier, and reinsurance partners. The role monitors performance, identifies emerging trends, and executes actions to improve growth, profitability, and operational results.

Develop and refine homeowners insurance pricing strategies and models; perform rate indications, regulatory filings, and actuarial analyses; analyze large datasets using SQL and Python; apply predictive modeling and machine learning; collaborate with underwriting, product, claims, compliance, IT, and Sales teams; communicate business recommendations; and manage multiple pricing and product workstreams.
