Provides practical HR guidance to employees and leaders, maintains HR systems and documentation, tracks workforce data, and helps improve processes while staying current with Alberta employment legislation and HR best practices.

Leads Ballad’s public relations, thought leadership, strategic communications, and organizational insights functions. Develops PR strategies, builds media and stakeholder relationships, manages executive communications, identifies emerging issues, and translates research and organizational impact into compelling narratives. The role also supports sector engagement, strategic initiatives, major publications, events, and reputation-building activities across Alberta and nationally.

Develop employer partnerships, source and finalize job placements, match participants with employers, and support clients through resumes, applications, interviews, and onboarding. The role manages employer relationships, coordinates placement terms, tracks outcomes, monitors labor-market trends, maintains databases and reports, and represents the program at employment events. It also provides participant support, addresses employment barriers, and collaborates with program staff to promote successful work experiences.
