Develop employer partnerships, source and finalize job placements, match participants with employers, and support clients through resumes, applications, interviews, and onboarding. The role manages employer relationships, coordinates placement terms, tracks outcomes, monitors labor-market trends, maintains databases and reports, and represents the program at employment events. It also provides participant support, addresses employment barriers, and collaborates with program staff to promote successful work experiences.

Lead and improve Ballad's COR-certified Health & Safety program, ensure Alberta OHS compliance, administer SiteDocs, deliver training, chair the Joint Health & Safety Committee, manage incidents and investigations, maintain documentation and audit readiness, conduct inspections, and collaborate with leaders across multi-site operations. Part-time (40-60 hrs/month) based in Edmonton or Calgary with occasional Alberta travel.

Trainee participates in a 4–21 week program teaching workplace essentials and occupational hospitality skills, earning industry certifications, building resumes, and preparing for entry-level roles such as guest services, housekeeping, cook, customer service, casino attendant, or health care aide.

Coordinate and deliver Ballad's events and community engagement across Alberta: manage logistics, vendor relations, communications, content capture, tracking, and regional support to build employer, partner, alumni, and stakeholder relationships.
