Provides mechanical engineering consulting, design, and technical leadership for load bank projects. Reviews specifications, diagrams, BOMs, and submittals; coordinates with drafting, fabrication, testing, field technicians, sales, and project management; resolves design, code, and standards issues; supports troubleshooting; and guides engineering teams. Responsibilities include mechanical drawing development, design revisions, equipment calculations, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage multiple new product development projects from concept through post-launch support. Develop schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, track milestones, manage risks and resources, remove obstacles, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Communicate project status to stakeholders and executives, support sales activities, and analyze forecasts and costs to meet profitability targets.

Manages customer sales order intake, purchase order review, order creation, change orders, and commercial quality controls. Coordinates with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and customers to resolve discrepancies, assess commercial risks, update quotations and ERP/CRM records, and minimize delays and rework. Supports customer onboarding, process documentation, workflow improvements, and system enhancements. The role is onsite in Valley View, Ohio, with occasional travel up to 10%.

Designs and develops mechanical electrical test equipment and load bank solutions based on customer requirements. Responsibilities include interpreting requests for quote, creating cost-effective designs, performing calculations and prototyping, selecting standard components, preparing design packages, collaborating on schematics and bills of materials, and supporting product standardization, process improvements, and cost reduction.

Leads the design, development, testing, compliance, and implementation of complex electrical load bank products. Creates schematics, technical specifications, bills of materials, validation plans, test reports, and regulatory submittals. Troubleshoots electrical issues across design and production, supports customer discussions, improves engineering processes, and mentors junior engineers. Ensures products meet safety and industry standards including CE, UL, CSA, NEC, and IEEE requirements.

Leads global sourcing and procurement for new product development and manufacturing operations. Drives cost savings through supplier selection, negotiation, value engineering, alternative sourcing, and design collaboration. Manages purchased BOM components from quotation through approval, ensures material availability and supplier capacity, maintains SAP data integrity, and coordinates cross-functional product launches. Supports supplier onboarding, quality issues, production launches, and continuous improvement while maintaining cost, quality, and lead-time targets.

Designs electrical test equipment and supports engineered sales proposals, pricing, customer requirements, and product development. Interprets specifications, drawings, and one-line diagrams; conducts feasibility studies; supports field troubleshooting; manages certification and testing; and contributes to process tools, product improvements, cost reductions, and engineering project management.

Designs medium-voltage electrical test equipment and supports engineered sales proposals, pricing, customer specifications, and technical quotes. Leads engineering projects, product development, certification testing, process improvement, and sales-order conversion. Provides field troubleshooting support, develops cost and performance solutions, coordinates cross-functional feasibility studies, and creates tools for technical quoting and business processes.

Develop product line strategies, innovation roadmaps, and product specifications to drive growth and profitability. Identify new product opportunities through market analysis, customer research, competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, and voice-of-customer initiatives. Provide technical and market direction to product development teams while evaluating sales potential and aligning product strategies with company goals.

Leads the design and development of complex electrical load bank products from concept through completion. Creates schematics, specifications, bills of materials, validation plans, test reports, and technical documentation. Ensures compliance with CE, UL, CSA, NEC, and other standards; troubleshoots design and production issues; supports product approvals; collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams; and mentors junior engineers while driving process and product improvements.
