The position works Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM in the Plant Operations Department.

Coordinates inpatient and hospital-based outpatient registration, interviews patients or representatives, collects and enters admission information, explains hospital policies and procedures, distributes information to ancillary departments, and participates in performance improvement activities. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior customer-facing experience, and flexibility for varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Reviews outstanding hospital accounts, investigates payment delays, resolves payer issues, appeals claim denials, and coordinates with billing staff to ensure accurate claim submission. Responds to inquiries regarding hospital claims and account processing while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, Medicare Secondary Payer, ABN, medical necessity, and billing regulations.

Performs phlebotomy, specimen processing, CLIA-waived testing, laboratory equipment maintenance, clerical duties, and support for technicians and technologists. Ensures accurate results and compliance with state, federal, and accrediting-body regulations. Works varied weekday hours in the hospital laboratory.

Performs hospital food service duties, including portioning and serving patient meals, assembling trays, cleaning, stocking food preparation areas, maintaining sanitation, and handling cash. Works under the Food and Nutritional Services Manager and follows established food safety and service procedures.

Provides registered nursing care in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, assisting with cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures, including emergency interventions. Supports patient and family education, advocacy, quality initiatives, NCDR reporting, and regulatory compliance. Requires acute or critical care nursing experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, current licensure, and on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.
