Principal Solution Engineer focused on cloud security and networking, supporting enterprise sales through technical discovery, security architecture, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, and customer workshops. Partners with account executives, channel partners, product, engineering, and marketing teams to advance opportunities and communicate technical value. Requires extensive network and cloud security expertise, strong technical sales experience, executive communication skills, and knowledge of multi-cloud, Kubernetes, zero trust, DevSecOps, and compliance frameworks. Up to 60% travel is required.

Own and evolve cloud-based platform and hybrid-scale integration playgrounds, including Terraform infrastructure, test tooling, environment lifecycle management, and benchmark suites. Build large-scale simulation environments, improve test coverage, detect performance regressions, and partner with networking, platform, security, and release teams. Lead test planning, manage delivery timelines, mentor engineers, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, and establish standards for infrastructure and test quality.

Build and manage outbound pipeline, conduct discovery, qualify technical and buying requirements, close smaller deals, support larger pursuits, manage renewals and expansions, maintain Salesforce forecasts, and collaborate with solution engineering and channel teams. The role also mentors other inside sales representatives and independently drives quota attainment across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Provides staff-level customer-facing technical support for complex multi-cloud networking and security issues. Serves as an escalation point, leading troubleshooting, packet analysis, root cause analysis, deployments, integrations, optimization, and upgrades. Collaborates with sales, solution engineering, and product engineering teams; identifies defects, validates fixes, and improves product quality. Develops technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides while advising leadership on recurring customer issues.

Designs and oversees secure, multi-cloud network architectures for enterprise customers using Aviatrix. Serves as the primary technical contact, guides deployments and operational excellence, leads executive and technical reviews, resolves critical incidents, identifies adoption opportunities, and communicates customer feedback to product and engineering teams. The role requires expertise in cloud networking, routing, hybrid connectivity, network security, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and compliance frameworks.

Develops technical marketing collateral, demos, labs, runbooks, certification materials, and competitive comparisons for cloud network security products. Partners with engineering, product management, sales enablement, training providers, cloud vendors, and customers to validate pre-release capabilities and prepare them for market launch. Provides technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, networking, zero trust, Kubernetes security, IDS/IPS, and automation while influencing product roadmaps through field feedback and evidence-based recommendations.

Serves as a strategic enablement partner to Sales, Solutions Engineering, Channel Partners, and Customer Success. Diagnoses performance gaps using CRM and pipeline analytics, designs onboarding and sales enablement programs, develops coaching frameworks and sales plays, and manages partner training, certifications, and co-selling enablement. Advises senior GTM leaders, aligns cross-functional teams, and improves seller readiness, methodology adoption, pipeline quality, and revenue outcomes.

Provides senior-level technical support for enterprise customers using Aviatrix’s multicloud networking and security products. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex network environments, resolving high-priority issues, coordinating with engineering and sales, reporting product issues, improving support documentation and workflows, supporting production environments, and mentoring cloud network engineers. The role requires expertise in routing, BGP, IPsec VPN, Linux, networking products, cloud platforms, scripting, and automation.

Generates and qualifies pipeline through outbound prospecting, ABM campaigns, and personalized customer engagement. Progresses stalled opportunities, manages full-cycle sales for smaller deals, supports strategic opportunities, and partners with field sales, marketing, channel, and solution engineering teams. Maintains accurate Salesforce records, forecasts pipeline, analyzes performance trends, handles objections, and consistently works toward quota attainment.

Lead design and delivery of Golang microservices, large-scale AWS data pipelines, and SaaS platform operations. Define architectures, standards, observability, and reliability; own IaC (Terraform/CDK), Kubernetes (EKS), AWS networking/security, CI/CD, incident response, and mentor engineering teams.

Lead architecture and hands-on development of AI-driven cloud network security systems across multi-cloud environments. Design Python/Go distributed systems, intelligent firewalls, telemetry analytics, and LLM-integrated threat automation. Mentor engineering teams, drive standards and innovation, present technical roadmaps, and deliver large-scale, cross-geography initiatives.

Lead design and delivery of customer-specific cloud networking enablement programs. Architect multi-cloud labs and curriculum, run high-stakes workshops, partner with Sales and Professional Services, and evolve AI-driven training content based on field signal. Serve as technical authority for enterprise customers during pre- and post-sale engagements.

Customer-facing technical architect responsible for end-to-end success of enterprise Aviatrix deployments: design multi-cloud network and security architectures, implement Aviatrix DCF policies, integrate with NGFWs, lead operational reviews and incident response, drive adoption and optimization, and produce runbooks and compliance-aligned network configurations.

The Account Executive is responsible for outbound sales activities, managing client relationships, generating leads, and closing deals in the cloud networking space.

Lead and hands-on build key PaaS features: design, implement, and operate distributed systems on Kubernetes and multi-cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). Manage and mentor a small engineering team, drive architecture and technical decisions, own feature lifecycles, recruit, and partner with product to deliver scalable, secure network-routing capabilities.
