Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Location: Dallas, TX

Department: Business Development

Reports To: Vice President of Business Development

Position Overview:

Aviatrix is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to Aviatrix’s revenue generation engine by delivering pipeline at scale to the Sales counterparts. You will do this through a maniacal focus on people, process, and tools. The Business Development organization is anchored in a culture focused on the development & training of its employees, incubating talent across the company, teamwork, and celebrating success. With flawless execution, we believe the Business Development organization will be a competitive differentiator for Aviatrix.

Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position that requires working from our Dallas office three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday)

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility is driving business growth and expanding the customer base of Aviatrix by identifying and nurturing potential opportunities through proactive outreach and effective lead qualification.


Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential leads and target accounts
  • Engage prospects through outbound calls, emails, and social channels
  • Qualify leads based on interest and business needs

Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Initiate conversations to introduce Aviatrix solutions
  • Build trust and rapport with prospective customers
  • Understand customer challenges and align solutions accordingly

Sales Collaboration & Opportunity Development

  • Partner with the sales team for smooth lead handoff
  • Maintain knowledge of Aviatrix offerings and market trends
  • Share insights to refine outreach and messaging strategies

Performance & Growth

  • Meet or exceed outreach and pipeline targets
  • Continuously improve prospecting strategies for efficiency
  • Drive high-quality engagement to support revenue growth

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prospect details
  • Track outreach performance and provide insights
  • Use data to optimize strategies and improve results

Market & Industry Knowledge

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Use market insights to enhance engagement strategies
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

Key Requirements:

Experience:

  • 1+ years of professional experience, ideally with an interest in outbound sales
  • 1+ years of experience in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline development
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Competencies:

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and objection-handling skills.
  • Effective collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp technical concepts.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, or Salesloft

The Dallas, TX OTE compensation range for this full-time position is $73,950-$87,000  + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education.  The range displayed is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US. Your total compensation package will be based on job-related knowledge, education, certifications and location, per our aligned ranges.
