Sources, negotiates, and closes PPAs and other power offtake arrangements for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Builds relationships with utilities, community choice aggregators, and offtake partners; manages RFP responses, transaction execution, due diligence, negotiations, and post-closing oversight. Collaborates with finance and project development teams, performs financial analysis, evaluates market trends and competition, and develops market strategies across CAISO and Southwest power markets.

Provides technical leadership for high-voltage infrastructure supporting utility-scale solar, battery storage, and hybrid energy projects up to 500kV. Oversees substations, transmission lines, interconnections, HV equipment, SCADA, protection and controls, utility coordination, engineering firms, contractors, procurement, cost optimization, risk mitigation, construction, commissioning, and operations.

Lead development engineering for mid-to-late stage utility-scale PV+Storage projects. Manage and mentor engineering/design teams, assess site constructability, guide cost-benefit and risk discussions, support optimization and automation efforts, coordinate with EPC/procurement/optimization teams, perform site assessments, and drive design-for-cost and LCOE-focused optimization across project lifecycle.

Lead technical optimization for utility-scale solar+storage projects from early development through financing. Model production (P50/P90/P99), evaluate design and LCOE trade-offs, support PPA bids, coordinate with EPCs and IEs, perform technical diligence, and present optimization findings to stakeholders.

Lead development of powered land and data center energy infrastructure, build a repeatable pipeline of powered land and co-development opportunities, manage site selection, permitting, utility coordination, and energy agreements, and build partnerships with utilities, hyperscalers, and developers to monetize and develop energized campuses.

The Associate, Project Finance will support the team in sourcing and executing project sales and structured financing, performing market analysis, and collaborating across teams to ensure transaction deadlines are met.
