Originates, structures, and closes commercial real estate and SBA 504 loans while expanding the institution’s loan portfolio. Builds relationships with borrowers, brokers, developers, and referral partners; evaluates financials and collateral; manages a deal pipeline; and meets production goals. Collaborates with underwriting, closing, marketing, and credit teams to improve approval rates and client outcomes. The role also supports market development, networking, training, and process improvements, with occasional travel to the Peoria, Arizona office.

Leads enterprise lending strategy across CRE and SBA 504 platforms, overseeing loan origination, structuring, portfolio growth, credit risk, regulatory compliance, and governance. Partners with executive leadership, the Board, capital providers, and banking affiliates while developing lending programs and managing high-risk credits. Builds high-performing sales and lending teams, promotes responsible AI adoption, and ensures portfolio performance, profitability, and regulatory standards.

Owns global financial reporting integrity across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Responsibilities include monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidations, quality control, CEO financial projects, capital markets and transaction support, M&A and joint venture analysis, audits, tax coordination, internal controls, treasury discipline, and ERP-based reporting. The role requires strong accounting leadership, multi-jurisdictional US GAAP and IFRS expertise, Big 4 experience, CPA certification, and advanced finance and accounting experience.
