Provide patient-facing insurance and accounts receivable support: data entry, inbound/outbound calls to collect insurance, enroll patients in assistance programs, post payments, estimate medication costs, recover unpaid claims, monitor faxes, and update patient charts.

Coordinate and manage ophthalmology clinical trials including patient screening, consent, study visits, diagnostic imaging, data entry in EDC systems, regulatory documentation, sponsor/CRO communications, and monitoring support while maintaining GCP and protocol compliance.

Verify patient insurance, benefits, copays, deductibles and referrals; obtain pre-authorizations; communicate with patients, insurers and referring offices; document interactions and enter data into EMR/EHR systems; perform related administrative tasks.

Greet and check patients in/out, capture insurance and co-pays, scan documents, and communicate with clinical and billing staff via phone, chat, and email. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinic, perform accurate data entry across multiple systems, and travel between clinic sites as assigned.
