Build and deploy production-grade AI agent systems that automate legal workflows. Responsibilities include developing Python-based agents, rapidly prototyping and evaluating product features, integrating customer and legal-team feedback, and creating AI-native workflows with streaming and long-running tasks. Candidates should communicate effectively with legal and technical stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and have 1–3 years of relevant technical experience. The position is in person in New York City.

Embed with law firms to understand workflows, build and deploy production-grade AI agent integrations, and own implementations end to end. Develop APIs, webhooks, adapters, SDKs, and internal tooling for systems including iManage, NetDocs, SharePoint, Outlook, and Word. Debug live production issues, improve observability, and convert deployment-specific solutions into scalable platform capabilities.

Own growth infrastructure end-to-end: connect GTM stack, build AI-powered workflows and MVPs, automate reporting and pipelines, run paid and outbound channels, support PLG, and scale repeatable growth systems.

Lead August's events, community, and partnerships across the tech and AI ecosystem. Design and run dinners, conferences, roundtables, webinars, and workshops; build relationships with lawyers, tech founders, product leaders, press, and analysts; drive revenue through event-sourced pipeline and partnerships; manage logistics, budgets, CRM tracking, and content amplification to position August as a leader in applied AI.

Build and optimize go-to-market technical infrastructure: multi-channel prospecting, LinkedIn automation, SEO pipelines, referral tracking, analytics and experiment frameworks, API integrations, ETL/data warehouse, and real-time dashboards to drive and measure customer acquisition.

The Special Projects Lead will engage legal teams, drive AI adoption within law firms, and ensure successful deployment of products while managing customer success and representing the company at events.

The role requires owning the full sales cycle, driving revenue growth, representing the company, and collaborating cross-functionally to customize solutions.

As a Legal Product Champion, you'll support law firms in adopting AI tools, translating legal needs into product insights, and driving adoption through training and client partnership.

As a Founding Designer at August, you'll lead the design function, focusing on UI/UX and brand identity for AI legal tools. You'll collaborate with engineers and legal experts to create user-friendly interfaces for complex workflows and develop a cohesive visual language.
